Abstract

The background of the RFE (Family-School Relationship) reflects a structured review of research in academic communities. Work that was carried out from an ongoing investigation "Enrichment of the family-school relationship, from the dialogue between parenting styles and the pedagogical model of the Navarra Educational Institution" in the education doctorate of the Luis Amigo University. Reason to develop a view of the (RFE) that contributes to the conceptual and discursive development, to the theoretical construction for further investigations, strategies, and intervention programs. Theoretical approach that was developed using a trend historical methodology, which yielded a classification by theme. Resulting in five lines: dimensions-properties, effects, strategies, conceptual modes, and theoretical models of the (RFE). The complex and heterogeneous nature of the reviewed studies show gaps that need to be further developed. The findings allow an approach for the construction of theory education and generate inputs for the development of three lines of research that could contribute to the studies of the relationship.
