Sustainability applied in the formation of the Higher University Technician

Abstract

Sustainability, as a process of obtaining quality of life, is currently a concern of public and private educational institutions, derived from the accreditation processes that involve the different disciplines, to respond to the needs of the social and business sector. The objective of this work is to establish the opinion of the Higher University Technicians (HUT) in Business Development Marketing Area, of the Technological University of Usumacinta (UTU), in Chiapas, Mexico with respect to sustainability in their academic model. 54 surveys were applied to students in the third quarter, grouping them into four categories: "Knowledge appropriation", "University relationship", "University education" and "Socioeconomic impact". Results show the relationship with the social sector, equity, solidarity, should be a priority for the development of the student. teacher training, and efficient facilities, for the training of a professional of character sustainable.
