Abstract

The validation of two instruments is presented to evaluate in higher education institutions the level of knowledge about the institutional educational model, as well as the degree of progress in the implementation of the model around the challenges of the knowledge society. For both instruments, an expert review was carried out at first to determine the prima facie validity, subsequently they were subjected to an expert judgment for the content validity analysis and finally a pilot test was carried out. The experts endorsed the prima facie validity of both instruments. On the other hand, the expert judgment allowed to verify the validity of the content and identify improvements in writing. The pilot group showed a favorable evaluation of the degree of satisfaction with the instruments, denoting adequate understanding of instructions and items. The application to a population sample is required to continue with the analysis of its psychometric properties.
