Continuous training is a personal process that requires teachers to correspond to the express needs of society and to assume an active role in the advances that humanity reflects in their own systematic professional activities such as updating, professionalization, training and postgraduate improvement. Regarding the characteristics of continuous training in Mexico, an early diagnosis of the needs of the context and topics of pedagogical relevance is highlighted, however, there is a lack of sufficient infrastructure and human capital with adequate preparation to build training programs related to the problem in the classrooms. It can be concluded that in Mexico there is no clearly defined continuous training model that responds efficiently to the training needs expressed by teachers.
