Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the decisive factors for success or failure for the implementation of educational models in Higher Education (HE) to propose strategies for better practices. A documentary analysis was made based on the scrutiny of 66 selected texts with relevant content. The main results obtained indicate that the determining factors are: leadership and legitimacy of the leader, the incursion of information and communication technologies (ICT), resistance to change, the digital divide, financing and interpersonal communication.
