The learning based on information and communication technology emerges as a strategy to motivate students in an environment marked by technology, through the use of digital tools, gamification and specific applications, whose objective is to actively involve future speech therapists in their learning process. A qualitative methodology of case studies was used in a private university to first year students in the subject of Fundamentals of Phonoaudiology through surveys and the implementation of a dossier of active participatory simulation strategies in an environment mediated by technology. The results were positive on the part of the students, valuing the interactive exercises and the use of gamification. It is concluded that simulation is a great tool, it allows to represent real life situations in the phonoaudiological field, through simulated scenarios, students can face practical cases and develop their problem solving skills in a safe and effective way.
