Abstract

The effective development of educational work and ideological political work are fundamental elements for the achievement of the integral training of professionals in Cuban Higher Education. In the Distance Modality, due to its particularities, the methodological work of the teacher is decisive in this sense. Consequently, this article aims to socialize the proposal of a methodological strategy to contribute to the improvement of the educational work and the ideological political work developed by the professor in the distance modality of the Accounting and Finance career at the University of Matanzas. Among the methods used are analytical and synthetic, inductive-deductive, system approach, documentary analysis, survey, frequency distributions, non-probability sampling and modified Fuller's triangle. As a result, the fundamental aspects that lead to the need for the elaboration of this strategy are identified and a tool with an indisputable methodological, scientific and practical value is offered that projects a set of actions in the cognitive, procedural and axiological dimensions, worked in two directions: curricular and extracurricular through its different stages.
