Educational research in Cuba: the delayed rescue of the “child thrown out with the dirty water”

Abstract

Presently article is made a critical valuation of the lamentable persistence of the scientific discoveries carried out by the author in the 2016, at times of the presentation of its Thesis in option to Doctor's scientific degree in Sciences, in which carried out a critical balance of the quality of the scientific investigation in the Cuban educational field, in the last ones almost twenty years. As that previous work, this article is a convocation to the rescue, on the base of the reflection and the collective debate, of the methodological values that characterized the advances formerly reached by the Cuban educational investigation, before the regional atomization and the rupture epistemic that, apparently, it conditioned the critical economic situation of the country of beginnings of the years ´90, well-known as Special Period. As in the 2016, the alternative for the Cuban scientific community continues being: to assume the challenges that involve to revert the created situation, or to continue generating investigation results and guiding master thesis and of doctorate already ballasted by the deficiencies identified, with the consequent worsening of the drop valuation and applicability of the results that unceasingly continue accumulating.
