Abstract

The article presented is focused on demonstrating the implementation of a channel on the YouTube platform, with pedagogical audiovisual content through capsules and educational material, to support students taking the subject of Childhood and Youth Language Intervention in their degree. of Speech Therapy at the University of Antofagasta, year 2022. Objective: Design significant teaching resources, based on the competency-based learning model, through the creation of a Channel on the virtual platform YouTube with pedagogical content, to promote different forms of visual representation of the content in the classroom, associated with the children and adolescent’s area of the Speech Therapy career. Methodology: The approach is qualitative with a methodological design of action research, evidencing the cycle of diagnosing, designing and implementing actions and then evaluating to improve the process. Results: The creation of the first virtual YouTube channel of the Speech Therapy degree was evident, with six audiovisual capsules and eleven complementary bibliographic infographics. Conclusions: The acquisition of knowledge in an interactive way was favored using graphic organizers and animations.
