Abstract

Objective: to demonstrate the formative impact of Norma Rosalía Cárdenas Morejón on science.

Methods: biographical, life stories, systematization (method and result), interview and triangulation as a contrasting procedure.

Results: arguments that demonstrate the formative impact of the representative personality under study, explained in findings that link it with the initial training of the education professional, postgraduate academic and scientific training, research work, scientific publications and personal example. and professional.

Conclusions: the formative impact of Norma Rosalía Cárdenas Morejón by having Educational Psychology as scientific support, performance and professional projection, favored the link between this science and Pedagogy. Contextualized the conceptual bases of Psychology to the training of young educators. In postgraduate training: it expanded the studies on personality as a guiding category of Psychology based on research, the essence of the contribution to the development of the historical-cultural approach. The scientific leadership achieved in the Socio-educational Center accentuated his personal and professional example based on intelligent persuasion and contextualized reasoning. She is considered a scientific authority in Psychology and Educational Psychology in Cuba.
