The assessment of the creativity of the university teacher: a challenge in the XXI century

Abstract

The article addresses the evaluation of the creativity of the university professor and the need to recognize the role that corresponds to the insertion of productive methods in the teaching-learning process in different disciplines of a year of the university career of Technical Sciences at the Higher Institute. Technological Spain, Ecuador, which leads to establish a group of actions in correspondence with the management of didactics to mitigate the main shortcomings that this diagnosis provides. The qualitative-quantitative mixed method was selected, the results of each one of the traits of the teacher's creativity and actions to mitigate some insufficiencies identified on the basis of the methodological work that must be projected at the beginning of the school years in the universities are exposed.  The purpose of this work is to characterize the aspects that identify the traits of creative teachers and how they are evaluated by students based on the teaching methods used in their classes and their correction through didactics management.
