THE INTERPRETATION OF THE COMIC AS LINKING AMOUNG HISTORICAL MEMORY , CULTURAL IDENTITY AND CRITICAL COMPREHENSION OF REALITY IN THE PREPARATION OF SOCIAL COMUNICATION STUDENTS

Abstract

The elaboration, application, and the results of a didactic strategy for the interpretation of comic are presented in this investigation. It belongs to the Curricular Unit “Semiological Analysis of Comic” of the Grade Formation Program Social Communication of the Bolivarian University of Venezuela. It values the necessity of forming students of such program with a theoretical- methodological preparation which is necessary to interpret and value, in its exact dimension, the meaning of comics in the contemporary culture in correspondence with a profile that can make significant differences in the social reality frame and that is able to reflect in an adequate comprehension of the impact of comics in culture.
