Abstract

Every educational process occurs in a particular culture characterized by social and political relations that exist between individuals in a dynamic and transformative context. According to Freire, culture is the representation of the experiences of individuals in a given society at a particular historical moment. The concept of culture in its broadest sense means that which comes from human action, is related to everything that is part of daily life, their way of thinking, of eating, living, developed within the community. Following this conceptualization, this analysis will be from Paulo Freire´s  pedagogical perspective in his differents works. His conception of culture part of a process of transformation, affects education and history, reflects on the culture of silence revealed in the Latin American reality and proposes a liberation and revolution from the circles and centers of culture, where man is the architect and starred in it.
