CONTRIBUTION OF SIMON RODRIGUEZ’S WORK FOR THE PROCESS OF FORMATION OF VALUES IN THE PNFE STUDENTS IN THE BOLIVARIAN UNIVERSITY OF VENEZUELA

Abstract

This article emerges from knowledge and concern by the contradiction found in the formation processs of Venezuelan students in the national program for training of teachers (PNFE) of  Universidad Bolivariana de Venezuela (UBV) and the document: "The tree of the three roots," which is based on the political thoughts of Ezequiel Zamora, Simón Bolívar and Simón Rodríguez and; the national plan "Simón Bolívar" (2007-2013) mixed  with the axiological axis of formation of citizens and the formation of values, such as: originality, collectivism, social responsibility that have not been included effectively in the formation process  of these students in the design of the PNFE due to the fact that  there are no subjects that support this process neither from the program components nor from the teaching methodology. For those reasons, it is considered that the knowledge and analysis of Simón Rodríguez’s  work could improve the training process and values development in the students undertaking the PNFE modality in Universidad Bolivariana de Venezuela.
