Abstract

The teaching performance is in continuous study, the way of generating planning, the didactics, the chair, its processes, the management of the group up to its own perception and analysis of its day to day, however, what happens at the moment when by reasons of the system a teacher leaves a group or several groups with a certain subject halfway through their training in the school year or the semester begins, when speaking of upper secondary education, but with the absence of a teacher of a certain subject. Due to the above, this research is presented with the objective of identifying the perception of students in the absence of a teacher, if that happiness that is visualized from a distance is real or carries other thoughts. For this reason, 15 high school students from the fourth and sixth semesters were interviewed to identify their feelings and activities when a teacher is missing from their class schedule. Among the results there is a manifestation of imbalance in the activities in their academic schedule, stress about what will happen in their future, what they will really learn and if it is related to the grade.
