Abstract

The paper accounts for the relation between the art of hermeneutics and educative action as a process, where there is learning while teaching and teaching while learning. Self-formation, essential characteristic of hermeneutic pedagogy, is accomplished through a process of self-interpretation, always open to new comprehensions, reviving of own and others´ experiences, all through language, the only means for comprehending and expressing the world. The hermeneutic pedagogy aims at unique aspects, of social and individual existence, in their external and internal expressions of life experiences.
