Abstract

In this paper we present the results of analysis on the emerging issue of evaluation and accreditation of education in Mexico and Chile, specifically in undergraduate or bachelor's degree. We focus the discussion on the concepts of quality assessment-improvement education, arguing that improving the quality and not derived directly from the process of evaluating, but we accept this prerogative. We conclude with some evidence of how it has perverted the noble purpose of the evaluation, from which education is conceived as a good or service, away, in this neoliberal culture, its nature of human right.
