Abstract

The text deals with the exploration of some complex communicative processes of learning science in elementary school from the analysis of the relationship established between the nature of science, the particularities of scientific texts, the characteristics of students regarding their learning process,  and the teachers' conceptions about reading, writing and orality. It is concluded that the school should consider mainstream curriculum by strengthening communication processes in each discipline as a means for the formation of autonomy and emancipation of the subject.
