Abstract

Improving the professional speech among students taking pedagogic courses is a priority according to current conceptions on science and language teaching as a major curriculum direction. Therefore, it implies a proper use of the mother tongue to assimilate cultural notions and mainly to understand appropriately ways of thinking, feeling, doing, and acting taking into account different communicative contexts for professional and pedagogic performing.  The concept of professional and pedagogic speech as well as its dimensions and evaluative indicators to assess the development of students in pedagogic courses are defined in the article.
