Abstract

Especial Education in Cuba is being subjected to a process of improvement addressed to the development of the attention to students with special educational need. Among these students are those who have affective behavioral disorders whose educational attention is organized are directed by a group of specialist. An important role is played by the scholar psychotherapist. The performance of this professional is based on a group of functions and tasks that considerably guarantee the quality of this attention. No positive results have being obtained so far that´s why it is necessary to improve the performance of this professional. A pedagogical strategy is proposed to solve this problem.
