Distance learning: Alternative for professors' postgrad of Geography in times of pandemic

Abstract

The convulsive situation that the apparition of the pandemic has caused as of the present moment, demands in all the social classes, the quest of strategies that contribute to the autonomy at the construction of knowledge. The article that is shown splits of the difficulties those Geography professors for the treatment present to the contents of the local Geography and the need to offer him liquid solution in the context of the pandemic. In such sense, it sets for himself as objective exposing the results of a correspondence course, implemented during the pandemic, as an alternative for professors' postgraduate education of Geography. The design qualitative utilized methodological, it allowed making use of methods, correspondent items to the theoretic levels, empiricist, techniques of descriptive statistics and the percentage calculation like mathematical method; the ones that they allowed confirming the problems and contributing to his solution. The application of the proposal enabled the systematization of the beginning of study of the locality; As well as the foundations that they hold the distance learning. Bigger level of preparation and participation in postgrad’s activities were caught up with for this professor, in the context of social worldwide confinement with it.
