Abstract

This paper presents a look from the present to the experience of literacy conducted during the Popular Unity –Chile-, the program Education of Workers, by colleagues from Chile, Argentina, Cuba, and Brazil. This work is a tribute book being edited and has resulted in a new synthesis, thinking on themselves. This work is part of a line of militant research that aims to investigate the pedagogical and political projects in adult education and the emancipatory processes in our America from 1959 to the present.
