Humanizing old age and aging with emotional education

Humanity evolves towards the massive and demographic presence of elder people in all the human activities and for a longer time every time. The objective of this work is to offer a synthesis of the state of the question on emotional intelligence and programs of emotional education with elder people, linked to the experimentation of a program of intervention in emotional education with 94 Venezuelan elder people, implemented for three consecutive months (May-August 2014), with the intention of knowing its effects on the well-being, emotional intelligence, the meaning of life and the self-esteem of its participants.
