The agricultural culture and the use of the ICT in the pedagogic formation

Abstract

The alimentary security is a challenge in the Cuban current context that implies the formation of a sustainable agricultural culture in the society. The School of Pedagogic Sciences of the University of Matanzas, in its academic work incorporates the subject "The agricultural education in present Cuban school", for the development of an agricultural culture in the pedagogic formation. In this sense the website “Agricultural and food culture, within the reach of all", was elaborated. This resource offers up-to-date information on the basis of scientific-technical knowledge, as well as that of the rural traditions.
