The present work presents the result of a documentary investigation of studies on information and communication technologies as well as the formation in and for Higher Education; this aims to the fact of identifying the amount of research presented with the aforementioned topics. It should be noted that among the main findings is the fact that ICT as well as the formation in and for research as objects of study in a research aimed at the comprehensive development of students is still a field in peak.
