Abstract

Research is one of the substantive functions of the University, and when approached from Postgraduate studies, it acquires a leading role, since it constitutes one of the main activities at this stage, which is characterized by being complex, dynamic, dialectic, where various mediation practices and processes are built that form the basis for the development of his career in this field. It is in this sense that the objective of the research is to know the perceptions around the research training of the students of the Master in Education Sciences who concluded the Final Thesis Seminar at a public university in the State of Hidalgo. The study is exploratory and descriptive, with qualitative methodology, the reflexive report was used to recover the students' experiences. Among the main categories that were identified were the students' perception of the educational program, the use of Information and Communication Technologies in their training process, the role of the research professors, as well as the experiences in participation in congresses and research stays.
