Internationalization and strategic planning in support of the quality of higher education in Mexico

Abstract

Objective: to know the prevailing situation regarding internationalization, strategic planning and quality in the Public and Private Higher Education Institutions of the Northwest region of Mexico. Material and methods: a quantitative research of descriptive and documentary type was developed; the information was captured through visits to the websites of the institutions studied. The study population consisted of 30 educational institutions. Conclusions: The main components of internationalization and strategic planning are present in the mission and vision of the educational institutions studied, all of which positively affects the educational quality of the institutions.
