Abstract

The process of the reading and literary understanding constitutes a problem of present time in the pedagogic investigations, like it was verified in the theoretical systematizing and carried out practice, it implies it two important processes: the literary education and the consumption of the reading. To base the relevancy of the literary education in the context of the Cuban school in the second decade of the XXI century the methods of the theoretical and empiric knowledge they were used, that is: historical - logical, analytic-synthetic, inductive-deductive, the empiric inquiries by means of the revision of documents, the observation, the interviews allowed to identify the weaknesses and potentialities with which it is counted.
